Day 01 :
Arrival in Colombo / Negombo

• Warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport by My Nomads Lanka Travels representative.
• Private transfer to Negombo – a coastal town known for its beaches and colonial charm.
• Evening city drive and sunset walk by the Indian Ocean.
🛏️ Overnight in Negombo.

Day 02 :
Chilaw → Trincomalee

• Visit Munneswaram Temple, where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva after defeating Ravana.
• Visit Manavari Temple, home of the first Lingam consecrated by Rama — known as Ramalinga Shiva.
• Continue to Trincomalee, one of Sri Lanka’s most scenic coastal cities.
• Evening visit to Koneswaram Temple, an ancient cliffside temple connected to Ravana’s mother.
🛏️ Overnight in Trincomalee.

Day 03 :
Trincomalee → Kandy

• Scenic drive through forests and villages toward the hill capital, Kandy.
• Stop at a Matale Spice Garden for a guided tour of traditional Ayurvedic plants.
• Evening visit to Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) — Sri Lanka’s most sacred Buddhist temple.
• Attend a Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening.

Day 04 :
Kandy → Nuwara Eliya (The Hill Country of Sita)

• Morning drive through the lush Ramboda hills.
• Visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, built by the Chinmaya Mission at Ramboda.
• See the majestic Ramboda Waterfalls.
• Visit Seetha Amman Temple, Gayathri Peedam, and Ashok Vatika (Hakgala) — believed to be the site where Sita was held captive by Ravana.
🛏️ Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05 :
Nuwara Eliya → Ella → Kataragama

• Visit Divurumpola Temple, where Sita underwent her Agni Pariksha (Trial by Fire).
• Optional: scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella through misty mountains and tea estates.
• Explore Ravana Falls and Ravana Cave, said to be connected to Ravana’s palace network.
• Continue to Kataragama to visit the Kataragama Temple, dedicated to Lord Skanda (Murugan).
🛏️ Overnight in Kataragama.

Day 06 :
Kataragama → Galle → Colombo

• Visit Rumassala Hill, believed to be a fragment of the Himalayan mountain carried by Hanuman in search of the Sanjeevani herb.
• Explore Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site blending colonial architecture and coastal beauty.
• Return to Colombo, the capital city.
🛏️ Overnight in Colombo.

Day 07 :
Departure

• Free morning for shopping or sightseeing in Colombo.
